Ecofriendly ideas for the classroom
Earthday was originally organised over 30 years ago in 1970 by the Earth Day Network, otherwise known as EDN, aiming to raise awareness of the environmental neglect taking place across the earth. Many schools took part in Earthday with their own special lessons, but why should the learning stop there?
Planet resources
There are a number of flipcharts and resource packs on Planet that you could use to teach various ecofriendly related topics, from the effects of pollution to nuclear energy. Also, why not use the weblinks provided to embed within your flipchart?
