Heather Hamker spends hours refining and perfecting her lessons to make sure they address a number of learning styles and include numerous opportunities for student interaction.

The Lesson
Dinosaurs
Heather Hamker, an elementary teacher from Erieview Elementary School in Avon Lake, Ohio, uses Activstudio to teach her students in her third grade Activclassroom.
"I use a combination of my peers, Promethean Planet and the Promethean User Group Conferences to help me learn more about my Activclassroom components," says Heather. "I've learned so much by watching others and trying to pull from their ideas and techniques."
She routinely watches the Teacher Feature segments to see what other Activclassroom educators are doing around the world.
"You can really learn a lot from downloading and opening other teacher's lessons," says Heather. "I spend a great deal of time downloading lessons and examining how other teachers have created their lessons."
