Make Your Lessons Shine with Resource Packs
Resource packs from teaching resources library are collections of vibrant images, videos and more that will liven up your lessons and make students sit up and take notice! Thes e packs cover a variety of curriculum areas and topics, and are easily installed into your Activsoftware teaching resource library.
To get started with teaching resource packs, check out the information in the tabbed area below, then start your search. You'll be adding fun, color, and action to your lessons in no time!

Getting Started with Resource Packs
As with all of Promethean's lesson resources, you must be a member and be signed in to download any of the resources.
Once you've logged in, use the basic search at the top of the page near the menu bar, or try our advanced search in order to narrow your search results.
After previewing the search results, download your chosen resource pack and install it in your Activsoftware.

Exploration Resource Pack
Give your students a taste of the Age of Exploration with images and backgrounds from this featured resource pack.
This resource pack contains images of famous explorers, including Balboa, Cook, Columbus, Cortez, Da Gama, Drake, Magellan, and Marco Polo. You'll also find maps and paintings.
And don't miss the images of navigation instruments, dubloons and ship parts!
Resource packs are FREE and can be a valuable tool for creating or supplementing lessons. Never downloaded or installed one before? No worries! Simply have a look at the following instructions or preview the video.
Instructions for ActivInspire users.
- Launch ActivInspire
- Click on ‘File’ -> ‘Import’
- Select ‘Resource Pack to' either 'My Resources’ or ‘Shared Resources’
- Browse to the location of your resource pack (.as4a file), and select it.
- Click ‘Open’ – the contents of the resource pack will then be imported into your selected resource library
Instructions for ActivPrimary & ActivStudio users:
- Click the link to download the desired Resource Pack.
- Start Activresource Manager from Activstudio or Activprimary, then click on the "Import from Resource Pack" button.
- Browse to locate the recently downloaded file, and click "Open."
- Your resources will be imported into a pre-defined destination in your resource library.
- You should choose to re-index your resource library in order for your new resources to become searchable.
- To view and use your new resources, you may have to restart your software.
