Is it possible to display the summary of votes without showing the letter pressed? I want to use it for formative purposes and pupils to note the question numbers they get wrong and then reflect when the test is repeated later in the lesson. At present they look to see which cells are green and remember the letter. This is when I use automatic flipchart turn.
Happy voting.

Hello!

If I'm asking what I think you're asking... right click on the Flipchart page, click ACTIVote then click Results.

Is that what you wanted?

Thanks for your conservative reply to my query. I dont know if your thinking what I am thinking. I have just tried your idea and it did not work but a way around the problem could be to click the button to show response times and this is displayed instead of the response.
Happy voting.

How about changing the order of your answers the second time you give the test?

In answer to the orginal question - No - you cannot show summary without showing the choice the pupil made. As you've discovered you can replace the choice by ticking the response time this removes it. There seems to be a need to not show the choice pupils made. I will take this back to the software developers.
Have you tried this ?
When I've done a quick assessment at the beginining of the lesson and repeated it at the end with the same test, for each question I paste the pie chart right or wrong. I then repeat the test at the end of the lesson (when hopefully the teaching bit has worked and they've got it now )and show the pie chart (right/wrong) and paste it next to the first time they answered the question. This has proved pretty powerful and motivating. Generally the pie chart shows more green the second time around!

I'd be very grateful if you could spare 3mins to fill in our voting question on the Website. We are putting together a compendium of uses of voting. Your input would I know be very gratefully appreciated.

A call the all those wonderful people who have been contributing to this forum. You input is so valuble! :)

Hi

Hope this is another way around students not noting what is right and wrong, during initial testing of students understanding.

During the design of the flipchart don't indicat what the right or wrong answer is so every answer will appear the same color (a very nice blue). Use this at the start of the lesson.
I think you can then copy this flip chart and edit it in question master allocating the right answer. Use this at the end of the lesson.

May be more of a mission in preparation though and doesn't allow for comparisions Michele speaks of with before and after results charts on same flipchart. Could use flip chart with no right answer allocated at start and finish and tell students what the right one is second time around, hopefully the majority vote will clearly indicate what is right so it is doesn't even need to be said(?).

Cheers
