I've got a couple of requests for when you are inputting text in AS2....
Ctrl+A should select all the text in the text box
Ctrl+B should make the selected text bold (this partly works)
Ctrl+Z should undo the last action (same effect as right clicking and clicking "undo" but quicker
The above are the most important, in my view, although you might want to implement more.
Is this possible?
Many thanks
Dave.

Dave that would be helpful. When I use a white font, I have a hard time selecting it because the background is white as well. Those commands would be helpful. Or....when selected, the white font would show as a darker font....Does that make sense?

Hi
As an interim how about making your page background a different default colour?

Margaret,
Making the background a different color does not change the default color of the selection box or area(If that is what you call it.)
Try this: Enter some text, select it, change it to white, and select it again....you can't see a contrasting color to the selection box and therefore cannot see what you are typing or editing.
I use alot of colored backgrounds and sometimes white fonts are the only ones that will stand out. My fix right now is to keep the text a dark color until I am finished editing nd then change the font to white... :o)
...Thanks :D

Yeah I've noticed that too. Personally, I love how the background changes white when you are inputting text - great idea to see what you're doing!!!
