This is because your computer is using a processor that is marked as "lpia", not i386.
Are you using a Dell Mini ?

I have actually fixed it, but the repository is not online because it contains beta software, not the release software :(

If you just want to use Inspire, you can install it using the ".tar.gz" method detailed in another thread, and I will make sure to update this thread as soon as the lpia repository is online in a few weeks,

Yes - it's a Dell Mini. :)

We've download the Inspire from the other thread, based on techsupports instructions. However, we know it doesn't include the drivers.

Where can we get the drivers? We're in the process of testing the feasibility of using netbooks in the classroom, including with the activboard.

Thanks

Sorry about the delay, due to a long holiday weekend here in the UK :)

The repository for the lpia version is not available to the public right now, we are planning a Linux update next week if all goes well in our testing. As soon as it is available you should be able to see the software in the Ubuntu package manager by following the instructions on Promethean Planet (that will include all software and the driver).

I will let you know as soon as it is ready...
