crashing repeatedly

I have tried to make a simple chart in inspire using some scanned images, a shape , text, a speech bubble and a fill. No actions or containers at all! It crashes every time on 3rd page. I dont know why. Other charts dont cause this. Could someone out there take a look? Thanks Noelle:confused:

Not sure this helps at all, but I can't access your flipchart at all! It loads, then crashes. Every single time! :confused: Perhaps someone else can shed some light!

I can confirm that it does crash! And, totally shut down AS!

Very interesting…
I was able to open and scroll through the flip chart. (Very attractive, btw).

I do have some observations:


I could not get Inspire to to open at all on my New macbook, but this older one running 4.11.
Your flip opened fine, but scrolling down the page browser was WAY slow, nearly glacial. In fact, I got a few spinning beach balls and ticking wristwatches as the computer struggled to redraw and move on.
Most interesting, the thumbnails looked better than the actual page. I could not figure out what was the difference, and then I noticed that it was the thought/speech balloons. They did NOT come across in the actual page. On the thumbs they looked correct. On the page though, they were just gray, streaky rectangles. I can try posting a screencap if needed.

This crashes on pg 3 on my pc as well.
Was this created on pc or mac?
Is the bubble filled on page 3?

Speech bubble on most pages is filled. I did it on a PC running xp pro. Thanks for the feedback. Noelle

I have a feeling its filling speechbubbles thats causing shutdown!

I had the same experience with this chart - soon as try to access the page with speech bubble - boom, shut down

I'm having a lot of crashes with my own charts. Can't pinpoint an exact cause. Sometimes it is inserting media, sometimes duplicating a page, sometimes I look at it the wrong way with one eye shut .... very frustrating.
