using arrow shapes to reveal

can someone tell me how to make arrow shapes move along a horizontal path when you are using it to reveal an answer? thanks

I am not sure that I totally understand what you wish to do but to have an object move along a specific path use the shapes tool and freeform shape to draw the path to follow. Place the object that will move on the page. Select it and open the property browser, scroll down to restictors. Here you want to restict the movement of the object along a specific path. You will then need to select the path it is to follow in the field below. Now the object will only move along that path.

You can make the path invisable by changing the transparency of it!
