The ActivInspire software is not recognizing my Activboard. I cannot calibrate the board. I have already opened and installed the activboard drivers that came with the new software. Thanks for your assistance. Oh and it is not a wireless system.

I had this problem.
Do a system restore to when your board was working.
Install the software under a custom install and select all the options apart from the activdriver.
This should sort it.

For some reason, when I downloaded Inspire, the wrong drivers downloaded too (but I didn't know that part at first:rolleyes:). So the Promethean tech person said that they had been receiving calls about the same issue. So she had me delete the outdated driver (version 5.1.1) and had me go to promethean planet and downloaded the most recent driver (4.1.1). Once I did that, everything worked.

We had the same problem with some of our machines. One download had an error in it. We downloaded the software again, and everything is working great. You probably have a bad download. 5.1.1 is a newer driver and 4.1.1 is an older driver.
