Installation question

When I installed inspire and opened it for the first time, it had me fill out my name, serial number and school. However, the OK box did not light up and I had to sign up for the 10 day trial. Any ideas on what I did wrong and how to correct it? My understanding is the software is free if we are running studio and have paid for it.

Did you use the serial that came with ActivStudio? If so, Inspire requires a new serial.

Where do I get a new serial number? I am using the one that was inside my software from activstudio.

When I downloaded the software it asked me what type of download I wanted to do. I said to use my current version 3 serial number. When I did this it then took me to the download page but at the same time sent me a new Inspire serial number by email.

Thank you! That is what happened. The serial number went to spam. I appreciate the post back! Any ideas on where to put the serial number now that I have found it? I have already selected the trial, but now need to know how to update with the new serial number.....

When I downloaded ACTIVinspire it worked, however I had to enter the serial number to upgrade to the professional version. When I click on upgrade it takes me right back to the same page that I downloaded it from previously. Any help would be great. Thanks!

It's like I'm lost in the woods and I keep ending up at the same familiar tree. AGHHHHHHHHHHH!
DIDN'T I SEE THAT TREE ALREADY?
I already downloaded the ACTIVinspire professional edition. I download it and had to enter my serial number for it to get it; however when I open it up it asks to me if I want to upgrade now. When I click upgrade now it takes me back to the same exact internet page that I already downloaded it. If I click on it - it says this file is already installed do you want to replace.
I think I am going to stop trying for now before I go crazy!

Once Inspire has been downloaded and installed you should be able to run it. The first time it runs it asks you for the new serial number you should have got (I think it is emailed to you but I haven't tried it myself). Once you've entered the serial number and clicked the box to accept the EULA then an OK button should become available. Click OK and you should be then able to use Inspire Pro

now select the 3rd option in which version is for me
enter your v3 serial number & then you'll get an email with an inspire serial number you can use to enter in the license screen & get away from the groundhog day you appear to be in at the moment!!
