Beta Version

Is the version that was just released today considered the beta version or was it the trial version that users were able to test before this release came out? Is there a target date for an upgrade with fixes or does that depend on how many bugs pop up as people are using it in their classrooms? My district said to wait to upgrade the software on our school computers until Promethean releases v2 of ActivInspire once a lot of the bugs have been fixed. Just curious

This is the real non-beta version 1.0 Our district also has a policy banning any beta products, but this is the real one. I know many individuals won't touch software until a 'point' fix has been issued, but that it your personal choice. I am concerned with a number of omissions from 3.17, but the fact that this is the new 4.0 leads me to believe it will be adopted.
