I just learned how to do this in Activstudio but I'm not sure how to do it in activinspire. Please shed some light on this!

It is basically the same in inspire as it was in v3

the container settings can be found in the properties browser - which if you don't have the browser window open is found by right clicking on an object & selecting it from the menu

Then when you have an object selected container properties are further down the properties page. All the same container properties are there & work in the same way so once you've found them you'll be well on your way!

I have been struggling to put a reward sound in my container in activinspire. Where are the sounds located? I can only find them in the resource library and I don't want the symbol in my container. Also, what settings are needed to have the sound? This new format is confusing! I was so proud of myself last year, but now I feel like I'm starting over!!!!:( kathy

Single click on the object you want to make a container. In the Property Browser scroll down until you see the "Container" section. In this section you can choose what the object can contain. To add a reward sound choose "True" next to 'Reward Sound', then select the sound by clicking the three dots after 'Reward Sound Location'.
You may have to find your resource folder that contains your sounds the first time - PC <C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Shared Documents/Activ Software/Activstudio3/Sounds> - MAC <Hard Drive/Shared/Promethean/Activstudio3/Sounds>
