Have any of you watched the new Activtips videos? I think there are 10. Which ones do you like? What new ones should be created?
A big thanks to Scott Caulfield, Promethean TLC for creating these! [clap][clap][clap]
Oh, and has anyone got them yet as podcasts. I tried but not sure if it is working yet?

Scott did an awesome job on these videos. Very helpful and he gives such great ideas on how to make flip charts better and more engaging. I found these videos very helpful.

I always enjoy watching Scott's explanations.
I don't see the Inspire Tips in the iTunes store yet, but they'll probably be there soon.
The link from Promethean Planet to the RSS feed is not working for me in Firefox. The link is active in Internet Explorer, but only goes to the iTunes store. Then I have to search for Promethean to subscribe to the feed. There are currently 6 episodes that do not download to my iTunes. Is anyone else having this same problem?
I've been spoiled, and love carrying my iTouch around with me and showing teachers and students the tips when needed, and am eagerly waiting for the "new" tips to show up.

Thanks so much for the good reviews.
I don't think that anything is wrong with your link on iTunes. I just don't think that they have been updated in iTunes. I will check on that, and hopefully soon when you update your podcast, you should get the new Activtips.
As always, if you have ideas for Activtips, please post them here on the Forum!

This is not an activtip but it would be an awesome resource pack to add. Another math teacher and I were discussing how cool it would be to have a feature that allowed students to see a net of a 3D figure and then "fold it up" into its 3 dimensional shape allowing them to rotate it around. Just a thought...

I love the ActiveTips videos. They are great for us visual learners! I would suggest one or two on using the integrated question and polling features as that is one of the main reasons I'm upgrading. Not having to design in ActiveSoftware and then port to ActivExpressions is great!

I am so excited about the video tutorials. I meet with several at my school each Wednesday to discuss different ActivBoard ideas. These ActivInspire videos will be a huge help in our transition to the new software. Thank you Scott and Promethean team for continued support!

I know that Cliff posted the link, but you can also get them from iTunes. Just search for "Promethean" and they will show up in the Podcast section. There is also a link on the Planet page where you can subscribe to podcast.
Personally, I think this is the best way to view/manage the tips, as they are saved to your computer, so you can view them without internet, put them on an mp3 player, etc. [clap]

I used to use a programme that did just this! It was called Poly. You could unfold shapes to see their nets and rotate it any which way, whether folded, unfolded or anywhere in between! I used to set it up to constantly rotate, whilst unfolding and folding itself up!
It used to be free, but I think you have to pay for it now.

Just an FYI that you can now download the new Inspire Activtips from iTunes!
In the future, the podcast on iTunes should update the same day they are posted on Planet!
