I just tried to copy and paste an equation from Mathtype into Inspire. When I tried this with the beta version, it worked, but the equation was about 20 times too large. The same thing happened whether I copied and pasted, or dragged the equation into Inspire from Mathtype.

I just tried both methods with the released version, and I got what looks like an empty object that is 20 times too big. I looked in the Property Browser and discovered that the equation is there, but it has transparency turned on, with the transparent color as black. As soon as I changed the transparancy to false, I could see the equation (still 20 times too big). I'm working on a MacBook with Mathtype 5.1 and OS 10.5.6.

Has anyone else tried bringing Mathtype equations into the released version?

I was really hoping this would be fixed, but it looks like we've gone backwards :(:(

I have been struggling with the exact same problem. I often use LaTeXiT to import equations into presentations and other documents as well, and there seems to be trouble copying and pasting equations from that program as well. Worked fine in the beta version. Even the flipcharts I created in beta are now screwed up when I view in this version.

I also had better results using Maths Type with the beta version so something has changed for the worse with InspirePro version1 release.
