I have downloaded (pretty quickly, btw) the Official Version of Inspire.
I had one glitch where it told me my serial number was invalid, so I tried another, which worked. I think the first was for V2, my original copy.

Anyway, the installer loaded and I clicked OK until it said Successfully Installed.
Hurray.
When I tried to open the software, I got a message saying the beta has expired, and then there was a link to go to the Planet website.

So I unnstalled both the beta and newly installed app and tried again. 2x. No luck.

Any thoughts?

I am running a dual core macbook under 10.5.6 with 2 gigs of RAM.

Help…

I am also having trouble with Inspire with a MacBook Pro running 10.5.6.
Got the splash screen and entered my name and license key information, then Inspire crashed.
The Console messages and the Problem Report are in the attached.

Inspired failed on the first attempt installing Inspire, Drivers and resources. After the first failure, uninstalled all of Inspire and every thing touch by Promethean today or having the name "inspire" in it (including the directory off ~/.config/Promethean). Reinstalled just Inspire and got exactly the same "malloc" allocation error.

I have not been able to launch Inspire with 10.5.6 with either the Beta version or the release downloaded today.

sigh,
george

Interestingly, I ran the beta with no problems. I just can't get the new, non-beta version to start. I wish I knew what to try.

Call your local Tech Support. They should be able to help and if they can't they'll find someone who can.
