accent marks

As gently as I can possibly say this: I'm disappointed. I've been reading about Inspire since the test version came out and so excited to try Inspire. I did try the Beta version only to find that the accent marks (diacriticals) don't work. This was a problem with Version 3 when it first came out but fixed with build 117 so I was very hopeful. Unfortunately this still doesn't work.

I do know about switching to other language keyboards but that won't solve my issue because I don't teach one of those languages.

I know that I can go to the symbols menu to insert but again even if I were teaching a more common language that would be too inefficient.

I am looking to use keystrokes to create accented letters using a regular font like Palatino or Times:
option u to create a umlaut
option i to create a circumflex
option n to create an enya
option c to create a cedille
option e to create an accent aigu
option ` to create an accent grave

because each of these keystrokes will allow me to create (with a Hawaiian font) an accent necessary in my language.

I can wait, I don't mind but please fix this for the next release/build of Inspire- I'm SO ready to use it!
