Hi - I am going to present a math lesson demonstrating the features of our new activboards to the parents of our school (they donated the money to buy them). I have some good flip charts and the activexpressions to use, but I can't come up with any good interactive whiteboard ideas. I want they parents to come up and use the board and do more than just write.
The lesson will focus on multiplying and dividing fractions. I am really looking for a huge WOW factor to impress.
Thanks for the help

Hi Doug... I'm sure you used Promethean Planet to search for some math lessons. There are a ton on there that will WOW your parents.
Also, simply open the resource library and go to Shared images... in the Math folder there are GREAT manipulatives to use for fractions and decimals.
I would definitely try the planet first!!!! :)

I downloaded the basic jeopardy flipchart from the planet last week and then added and adjusted in to make it more friendly to use in my calculus class. The categories can be changed to anything easily - probably in less than 30 minutes and all of the button are set up to link correctly now. Email me if you have any questions
