Powers have always been a problem when adding text. Here are a few ideas, using the superscript and changing text font size, keeping them on your tool bar is always useful especially the square root sign and the integration sign.

Hi Chris.

Which version are you using for the Math symbols? I cannot find the square root key on the text tool in V3. Where do I look?

Thanks

I teach math and often want to type exponents, radicals, etc. I like the equation editor in MS Word, so I've edited one of the user defined buttons on my ActivStudio toolbar to be Microsoft Equation Editor. Just right click on the user defined button, then choose "program/file:", next click on the "..." at the far right, and then follow this path from there

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Equation\EQNEDT32.EXE

Hope that helps!

Thank you! The equation editor icon is on my toolbar. My life just became easier!
