Is there a guide or document that describes how to create the characters in Activstudio for Windows that are used in the Spanish language? I am a Mac guy working with someone who uses Windows and they teach Spanish in a school in the US. I have played around with a few things, but was hoping that someone might have something more definitive than poking Windows around and guessing. I looked through the knowledge-base, HELP and really didn't find anything. I even looked in the manual...
Any help would be appreciated.

Here's one I learned just the other day. Open up a text box, and then open up the floating keyboard. In the upper right-hand corner (of the PC version), there is an "S" key that doesn't belong to the normal QWERTY keyboard. Click on it, and you will gain access to a symbol menu, many of which are letters with diacritical and accent marks.
Enjoy!

Ben, Where is the "s" you are talking about? I am a French teacher and the accent mark thing is driving me crazy. I am currently drawing them on and it looks so dodgy. But I can see no "s" on the keyboard other than the one between the a and the d.
Thanks!

Hi - welcome to the Forum.
Have a look at the screenshot. I have circled the S for symbol on the Keyboard.
Hope this is what you are looking for...

Thanks, since posting my request, I have been mucking around myself and found another way to do it:
1. Create a textbox using the text tool. The text edit
toolbox should appear.
2. Click on the little arrow between the ? and the X.
3. In the dropdown menu which appears, choose "other".
4. Scroll along to your desired letter and select.
Hope this helps anyone else who is wanting to use accent
marks.
