I have recently looked through another thread and thought this might be good in the Maths section.
Do you use fraction creator to create fractions? Not alwys possible when not on an IWB, I always created a seperate numerator (under lined) and denominator as seperate text then grouped, this I think works well, a lot of work I here you say, well have this one on me, see below:

Chris as always that is really quite clever! I use the traditional way and hit enter when I am ready for my denominator. Then I draw a line underneath. But for fractions in a traditional sense this is the best way to do this. It does make things a little bit difficult when you have variables and symbols in the fractions. :p

I generally use Mathtype for anything that I can't just do with a single text object. Of course if I make a typo, I get to do the whole thing again ....:(

Hi June,
Can you attach a flipchart to demonstrate how you use this?

Hi Chris --
I'm sorry it took me a couple of days to respond to you. I've attached a Quicktime movie showing how I can create a fraction object in Mathtype and then drag it on to the flipchart page. I did most of the work in Mathtype from the keyboard, as it's faster, but I think you'll get the idea.
Does this answer your question?

I too have used math type, and it is a bummer when you have to edit, but some times it is unavoidable that you need to use math type for certain equations on the page.:)
