As a teacher I often cut and pasted exam papers into activstudio, I have taken this a step further and included some active ideas to help answer the questions for 4 questions on the paper below:
Mathematics (MODULAR) (SPECIFICATION B)
Module 1 Foundation Tier Section A
Specimen Paper (Non-coursework specification) 2009
See the attched flipchart, I will do the rest of the paper, watch out for it on the Planet.
If you use it in the classroom please feed back any comments

Cheers for that Chris
I always have Secondary Maths colleagues who are on the lookout for different ways of displaying and utilising this type of information and teaching material. I was recently involved in a SATS booster day at South Leeds High, and we camera snapped testbase examples into activ expression. The resulting analysis allowed the Maths Dept to target groups and individuals very specifically for extra input .

Thanks John for these, they look excellent and will give teachers an excellent starting point to develop exam papers into flipcharts with active ideas surrounding the questions.
I used to do this with KS2 and KS3 SATs papers when I was teaching, students always liked to see what they had in front of them on the IWB.
Students were alsway more willing to do it on the IWB than on a paper version!!

This exam paper and solutions will be put on the Planet 20th November (check the key words exam paper)
Give it a couple of days to get there

We use exam questions in the following way:
Spot the mistake. Can be used with ACTIVote or ACTIVexpression. There is a mistake in many of the questions, but not all. Students select the appropriate point of the question for the mistake.
If using ACTIVexpression, the correct answers could be texted in, confidence tested before answering, etc.
Our students loved this - and so did I. The first time I used this idea was during an observed lesson. I got a 1. :D

Excellent idea Craig, especially using expression over the top.
I also used to get my students to do one question each from the paper and ask them to make a deliberate error in the solution, they would then pass the questions around the class and see if other students could spot their mistake, this used to work well too.
Keep the ideas coming and share good practise
