I have misplaced my remote. Is there a way to manually turn on my board?

Do you mean your projector?

I have an interesting remote issue. Although I do know where my remote is, it will not turn on the projector anymore. I started it up in the morning, then turned the power off. Now it won't do anyting at all. I don't think the batteries would go bad that fast, but if my remote does not work I would also need to turn my projector on manually.

Have you - or any other user - been navigating the projector menus? If so this might help.

I had to replace a bulb this morning and accidentally set the remote to operate on code 2 (I didn't even realise that the remote/projector could operate on two frequencies) via the menu tree while attempting to reset the bulb counter.

If you are desperate you could try this.

If someone else's remote works your projector try taking the batteries out and re-inserting them. If your remote doesn't work on another similar projector try holding down the image and menu buttons on the remote for more than 5 seconds.

Check your manual first in case it is different to my short throw projector.

I had a teacher break (ouch:() a remote and the only way we could turn her projector on/off was to share a remote.
We ended up buying another remote from our supplier.+wave+

Well that's a first Dave...
I've been cursed a fair few times in my teaching career but no one has actually blessed me before - well not in public, at least. One for the grandkids!

Until the remote is ordered and replaced, you can use another teacher's remote to turn on the remote.
At least this will keep the teacher using the board in the meantime.
