I think the two applications work basically the same. The graphics are different though. I believe if you do a search for the topic you can see screenshots and opinions on which interface folks prefer! A rather heated discussion!

What are the differences between Activstudio Mac/PC? (not the icons, but the functions and steps involved).
For instance: does 'drag a copy' work in Mac as easily as it does on a PC?

Drag a Copy does work in the Mac version. The only thing to be aware of is that you can't check the option to disable it in Design Mode (found in Design Mode preferences). At the moment, checking that option will disable Drag a Copy entirely. I'm sure this will be fixed in the next version.

One main difference in the Activstudio, is if you want to move an object to the trash/resource library/another page, you have to grab the hand above the object to do this.
There are some other minor differences in tool images.
