Is anyone using thier activboard in conjunction with the Investigations Math. If you are, how are you integrating the curriculum with it? I appreciate any help.

Hi,
If you canemail me (see below) a couple of the investigations in word or as a pdf, I will have a go at putting a couple into flipcharts, then post a thread in this area where teachers can download them from the resorces on Planet.

Hi Nicole,
Thanks for your email with the two investigations on, I will try to put at least one of these onto the Planet for people to download and put a link here for others to find when complete.

I will also email you a copy to look at prior to posting on the Planet for you to comment on, it maight take me a week or so to do.

Chris,

How did those flipcharts go? I was looking around for some Investigations flips the other day, and couldn't seem to find any...

Ben,
I don't think there are any so far. I think Cris Stone is working on it. I gave her some of the curriculum and she said she would put something together. I think that if I see something that works with the curriculum, I will be able to go from there.

I have some investigations flipcharts for grade 4 and 5 that I have created. One probability activity I did that the kids loved was to use the rolling dice, count and record. I can send you the ones I have.

So far I have not been able to find any help with this. If I figure it out myself or if someone is able to show me some examples, I will let you know. Good luck with this. I think that some of the issues I am having so far this year will be resolved if I am able to integrate the active board somehow. This is my first year teaching and the first year for my district to use Investigations. I know that it can only get easier.

I have scanned many of the fourth grade Investigations materials to use in Flipcharts. However, I am not sure about copyright issues.
