I need to know how to keep my Activboard callibrated throughout the day. I am having to calibrate it every time my projector goes on standby which is at least 3 times a day. This is becoming frustrating. Please help.

I am not sure, but I only calibrate after my projector is accidently bumped which is rare since mine is mounted on the ceiling. When mine goes to standby, it is still in the right spot on my board when I wake (?) my computer up. Is your pen really off so much that calibration is necessary?

Is your projector and board mounted or is one or the other on a cart?
That can make a big difference.

Are you using PowerPoint a lot? It can throw the calibration out. If so, try altering the 'Set Up Show' settings to 'Use Current Resolution'. This has cured my daily problem!

This brings up a question - my school is about to get 20 more boards (I have the first one :D) My board is mounted stationary, however they are considering mounting the others so they can slide (they have to go where sliding white boards are currently and there are cabinets behind the boards ... when Board is mounted permanently, you lose storage space - but it is worth it!)

My opinion - if the boards are sliding, they need to be calibrated each time  ... opinions?

Hi, lharvey.

You are right. If you move your Board, or Projector, or change of machine, the calibration will be out.

If your boards are on sliding, you will need it everytime you move it.

Unless you get an AB2, where the projector is connected to the board. Those can move up and down without losing calibration.

We also have a reseller in the North, who has come up with a track system, so you can slide the board left/right, but it locks into original place, so you shouldn't have to calibrate, so long as the projector isn't moving.

Hi, Scott.

Do you think your local reseller will share with us how he did it in the first place? I am in Singapore and I love to learn from your reseller hwo can their make it possible.

Thank in advance.

David,

It is actually not a re-seller in my area by rather my region. Let me talk with the TLC that works with them, and see if they can post their information and/or pictures here.

I'm sure you can contact them from the website as well. Hope that helps!!

Hi, Scott.

Thank you. It will be useful for all resellers, just like all the user share their thought here. :)
