There are times when a flipchart with a white background is just uninspiring, you can add colour with the fill tool and use some of the pre-prepared backgrounds built in to the software.
But there are times when you might want to use a theme as a background to support the subject area you are working on, so how do you do this?
If you use this link below it will take you to a flipchart on the Planet which has the instructions to create your own background.
http://www.prometheanplanet.com/server.php?ResourceSearch%5Bsearch_text%5D=backgro unds&ResourceSearch%5Bsubject%5D=00200n009003001034&ResourceSearch%5Bgrade%5D=&display=006007001&ResourceSearch%5Baction%5D=advanced&change=ResourceSearchResults&catMatchType=includeChildren&searchType=basic
You could do this for any image in any subject area, so please forward the idea to colleagues from other subject areas.

It seems that the link might not work in the post above, so to access the flipchart, while on the Planet in resources, use the following in the white search boxes:

Keyword(s) backgrounds Subject Area Maths

This will take you to the flipchart, sorry for the problematic link.

Also need to change to United Kingdom. I went looking for it and it doesn't show up on United States.

Here's another tip:
Use a URL shrinker, such as www.tinyurl.com

This is the actual link to the referenced flipchart:
