Hi,

I have turned off the sound controler being displayed when I play sounds as it was a bit distracting having it popping up everytime a sound was played.

Having turned it off however I have found that there are occassions when I want to stop the sound playing in the middle of the wav file.

Would it be possible to include a way that sound can be stopped playing quickly even when the sound controler is not displayed. Maybe in a similiar way that you can stop a tickertape by rightclisking on it, or by placing another icon in the top taskbar (next to ? S N A section).

I know this is a bit like asking for cake and wanting to eat it too.

Thanks

Peter

G'day Peter

Nothing wrong with cake and eating it. You can do what you want with the sound by including the sound controller in your tool box.
Click on Promethean Man>Toolbox Customise>Toolstore, then drag the Sound Controller (in the Presentation Tools section) onto your toolbox. The icon looks like a speaker and coloured charcoal and white. This will enavle you to stop/pause/play sound tracks and have the sound controller appearing when you want it to.
Of course you can include any other tools as well to customise your toolbox and even save different customised toolboxes if you wish.
Enjoy your cake! {}

Another way would be to press the flipchart "toggle" button twice - shows the desktop briefly, but is a quick way I sometimes use...
