Looks like an option to customise how menus/dialogs display will be the answer!

I personally much prefer text. I know symbols are supposed to be more intuitive, but I have trouble understanding symbols (and I've seen people getting confused between the no entry sign and cross a lot, not knowing which is "no" and which is "cancel"!)

I endorse Rob's suggestion as it is my experience that users are often confused. The facility to customise the menu please.

I agree. Yes / No / Cancel or Don't Quit or similar would be good.

Icons are fine most of the time but this is a situation where a written button would be a lot easier to understand! I too have seen colleagues baffled by the symbols despite able to use everything else successfully. :)
