Loading from the icon

Hi,

I sometimes load a specific flipchart by double-clicking on the icon on the desktop or from Explorer. This works fine for me but when my friend does it AP loads up normally and then comes up with a message saying that the flipchart cant be found.

I have tried everything (including reloading the software). My friend finds it very frustrating to have to open the software first and then navigate to the file (Which then opens normally).

Any thoughts?

The only thing that springs to mind here is something which was fixed with a patch a while back. Are you definitely running with the most up to date software?

That would be my first suggestion. We are on 1.2 Build 2.

The other thing that springs to mind.....

If you already have the program running and you double click on a flipchart you will get no response. Double clicking on the icon also initiates the program and so if you choose to open the flipchart by double clicking on the flipchart icon you must be sure that the program is not running.

I am aware that you do know the program relatively well, but thought I would start with easy possibilities first +wave+

Thanks for those thoughts Margaret - she does definitely have 1.2.2 and the program does load fine - it then simply wont open the flipchart which caused the program to load in the first place. So something stange is happening here.

She also has AS2 on her machine and a right-click and 'open with As2' will open it fine - it just wont work for ActivPrimary.

Any other thoughts?
