Any chance of ACTIVstudio2 being available for Macs?

Come on then, let's have it! BETT is a distant memory.
ActivStudio2 for Mac seems like a vain hope!

Yes, understand your frustration, we are also bothered by the delay. We had to make sure Activprimary for MAC was OK, then we could work on AP2 for MAC. Watch this space late April early May regards,

In the meantime though, it would be nice to have a working driver for ActivStudio 1 for OSX- I am having to use OS9.3 to get the board to work at all.

We run ActivStudio 1 on OSX with few problems, have you the latest version and drivers? http://www.prometheanworld.com/uk/html/customer_care/drivers.shtml
The latest Mac version we have is v1.2.1

No, it basically doesn't work- see Stuart Collins' reply on the 10th March in my other thread "...tale of woe"

I understood that ActivStudio2 for OS X was going to be released after Tiger (OS X.4)

Has this happened?

If so, will users who bought an ActivBoard during the long wait for A/S2 for Mac be sent a copy automatically?

I presume we won't have to pay for it?

Yes, we have had to do a little extra reworking for Tiger as the spec continually changed whilst we were writing ACTIVstudio 2 for MAC. We also had to rework the driver. This has once again caused delays, but we have to blame Apple for continuously improving their OS!!

I'm expecting AS2 for MAC - Tiger ready in about 6 weeks.

The "tiger" driver is now posted on the website version 2.1

I would recommend you uninstall your existing driver before installing 2.1

In the meantime, AS1 works with Tiger, but there are one or two "funnies" to be aware of e.g. the menu pops up behind the toolbox. We are unable to rework AS1 to be compliant with Tiger and do not recommend new users to try it!
