Hi there, I'm running AP3.6 build 114 on OSX 10.5.2

When I download the update via the dashboard and open the dmg to install, I am toldthat I d not have Activprimary 3 installed.

I do of course.

Any solution for this?

Steve

This has happened to me when trying to upgrade V2.5 Activstudio on the Mac. The only way that we found to fix this was to reinstall the old version, and then to try the upgrade again.

You could also try going the Prometheanworld.com and downloading the full version of the software (as opposed to the upgrade) and installing that. You'll need a license number to get access to that download though.

There may be an easier way to do this.

I agree that the easiest thing for you to do is just get the 3.6 update from the Promethean World site.

You don't need to download all the resources, as you already have them.

It is great that you are posting the bugs here on the forum. This is how we can find out about them and fix them! So please continue! :D

Have a great holiday weekend.

Hi Steve,
I believe the installer is trying to find the Activprimary package receipt from this location...

/Library/Receipts/ACTIVprimary3 Software.pkg

Is this file present on your Mac?

Hi there,

you are right - there is no receipt in that location...

If you re-install 3.6.114 (no need to uninstall it first), that will place a receipt in that location, and the upgrade should then be ok.

Alternatively, you could just try duplicating another receipt in /Library/Receipts, and then renaming it to ACTIVprimary3 Software.pkg.
