Driver issues

I downloaded the newest version on my laptop but it keeps freezing. The driver is the problem, I'm sure, but when I try to run the update, it tells me to uninstall or delete the old one. How do I do that?????

As far as I can remember, when I've had to do this, it has been complicated and I've been talked through it with tech support on the phone while I did it. I think it needs lots of digging in the registry to remove all traces.

Although you might try Control Panel>Add/Remove programs>ACTIVdriver

When I did that it only gave me the option of removing the entire PE of Activstudio and I really don't want to delete the whole program.????

No, don't remove entire program.

Looks like you might need to do the whole driver removal as above.

I go to the control panel and add/remove programs but if I click on the driver, there is no 'remove' icon. The only thing that has that option is the entire PE program.
It's frustrating now because I would like to make flipcharts for next week's lessons and I can't even open Avtivsoftware.:confused:
