Sorry, not an AS2 related comment, but there isn't an area of the forum about the forum itself!

The way in which this forum is accessed with a frame (http://www.promethean.co.uk/forum.htm) means that IE6 can block the login cookies and prevent access.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is it potentially preventing a lot of users from access this useful resource?

Also, is there any particular reason read-only Guest access is not allowed? My school isn't aware of this forum yet, but I'd like to introduce them to it, and know that would be a lot easier if they don't have to register just to get access.

This is a source of much frustration to me as I cannot access this forum from school unless I go through the direct address, I have spoken to support about it.

Hi

The forum issue is a temporary one while we move servers - the issue some users are having is due to the way the forum is delivered via an inline frame but only because it is coming from a different server to the current UK site.

This situation is regretable and can be remidied by reducing browser security level to low - medium - however I do not suggest doing that at this stage since the problem will disappear on Monday.

We do apologise for the inconvenience that some users experienced, we hope that you can bear with us a few days longer when the issue will be resolved for good!
