How do I save a page into my page library on a Mac? Using version 3 of the software. On the PC in design mode, when you right click on the page it offers the option to save page.

I use a Mac, too. If you open the resource library and make sure the Shared pages (or My pages) is selected, and then control click on the page, you should see an option that says: "Add to page library>Page."
(Sometimes it shows when the library is not open though.)

We tried that but didn't get the option to add page to library - only add background to library and add a grid to the librbary but they are both greyed out. We tried to do both!

Hmmm. I just noticed you are using Activprimary. (I'm using studio.) Perhaps that is not an option with that application. Are you in design mode?

Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment on the Mac.
As a workaround (in Design Mode), you can copy/cut pages to your clipboard in the Page Organiser, close your current flipchart, open another flipchart, return to the Page Organiser and paste the page.
If you want to take pages out of other flipcharts then use the Flipchart Builder or the Resource Library.
