Custom default flipcharts

I would like to be able to click Flipchart -> New (AS2) and then select a flipchart customised to my own specification, e.g. of a predetermined size and with a grid on.

Custom Page Size allows (albeit with a few clicks too many) the first of these but there doesn't seem to be a way of having a grid of your choice on a flipchart by default.

Am I missing something?

You can customise the size of the default flipchart without using the custom page size option. In settings/flipchart change the default page size setting. New flipcharts will then be created in the size you select.
You can also have an image to be shown by default on every new page but this doesn't currently work for grids.
