This is one of the most exciting programs I have seen for a long time to help teach the basic principles of programming - similar to Logo - but with a modern twist....

The 3D world (think Kartouch in true 3D with drag and drop programming) is easy to program... and there are libraries of graphics...

All ready to go on your Activboard! Just follow the tutorial...

The software is also free - even better!

Cheers... Glad you like it... My 7 year old daughter is now really running with it... Apparently it is a popular software with girls - and they have a tie up with the SIMS in the next version to reinforce that.

I was in into Logo when I was a teacher... but this really updates the whole concept - and adds all the stuff that the older procedural languages did not in terms of core principles...

LEGO software for their robots (particularly the old MIndstorms software) I found useful too... for the physical things you could do with the robots and works well on an IWB
