OK so we have been officially told that Active Primary V3 will not work with the Leopard operating system. Really annoying for me as i have got so annoyed with writing slides on a pc and then having them not appear quite the same once on the mac. But that as they say is another story.

So we have been promised a V4 which will make use of all the features on Leopard. But the big question is how long are we going to be expected to wait.

I am not so disappointed as I have chosen to revert back to Tiger for other reasons ( Final Cut Studio is not stable under Leopard) but would like to be able to use the latest operating system once the bugs are sorted.

Anyone also in the same predicament? Anyone have an idea of when we might expect V4?

A hopeful mac user... (do Microsoft users have the same problem with Vista I wonder.... hmmmmm.)

Hi there,
I think that the Leopard issue is sorted out and we are close to release V3.6. You won't have to wait until V4. As I understand it the next version is currently being tested.

Peter,
That is good news about Primary V3.6 although I use ActivStudio more. Do you think that your prediction of V3.6 applies to ActivStudio also? I really miss using my Board because I made the switch to Leopard.

From the Activstudio Mac OS X Leopard thread:
Just to clarify.....
Activstudio AND Activprimary with Leopard support will be released in January.
That was a few weeks ago, if it's coming sooner that will be great.
