Hooray-- thanks so much-- we'll use this today in our planning meeting after school!clwn
Question for you:
When we connect our new macbooks loaded with Primary V 3 to the LCD projector, the display changes and the Dashboard is SO LARGE that there is no way to see the bottom of the Dashboard-- the recent flipcharts and the "Close" button. :(
We want to use the Dashboard--- Is there any way to make the Dashboard smaller? Do you have a suggestion as to what display configuration we should choose?
It's happening on all 4 of our new macbooks.
Thanks so much!

Its the screen resolution the lcd projector is set at (800x600).
To get the Dashboard to fit you'll have to set the resolution to 1024 x 768.
You can do this by going to your system preferences and selecting Displays.
Hope this helps.

We are having the same issues. We have to reset our preferences for our display every single day. The projector does automatically set itself to 800X600 and then takes control of the computer. Do you have any suggestions on what we need to do to correct this?

I'm not sure if you can get the right resolution to stay or not. But in the system prefs under displays, you can check "Show displays in menu bar" so that you can change it from the menu instead of opening the system prefs each time!
