Last time I posted I got great feedback and found just the answer I was looking for. I'm hoping someone can help me with this as well. I have found a bunch of google images that I would like to insert into a flip chart. How do I do that?

Control click on the image and choose copy. Then open the flipchart and Apple V will do paste and choose image from the menu.

Copyright may apply unless otherwise noted on that image.

That does not work. Any other suggestions?

Are you in Design Mode? Not sure how you get there on a mac, but I should think you need to be to insert pictures.

What part is not working? If you control click on an image, are you getting a menu with copy as an option?

And, yes, you do need to be in design mode to paste the image.

Sorry.

I got it! I had it in design mode, but I had put the pics. on my desktop. I guess it only works if I copy it directly from the website. Thank you!

I'm not sure if this works in Primary, but you can try. In ActivStudio, if you have an image on your desktop, you can drag it right on to the flipchart page. When you release the object, it should give you the option of adding the object, linking to the file, or linking to the embedded file. If you select Add object, it should add the image to your page.

And you can always take a picture of the picture with the camera tool to get it onto your flipchart page!

Hi June

Sadly it won't work in Primary because the flipchart can't be tiled like it can in Studio.

Best way is to open the web browser in Activprimary go to the google images page and use the camera tool to snapshot these and place them on your flipchart page.

Make sure that in your Activprimary settings you have ' Camera captures toolboxes' option checked otherwise the Web browser will disappear!
