Current state of play re: off-board licencing.

Can anyone tell me what the situation is re purchase of software for 'off-board' use in the UK. Is the £99 'deal' over now? Would a school contact Promethean direct and negotiate?

There are a few options.

We have the 60 day trial which has been mentioned in this forum.

Schools can buy the whole set of Scholastic Books from us and they will then get a whole school license to use AP on any board for £419.

As far as single user goes that I believe is now £249.

The 419 deal is amazing...... and to be honest trying it out for half a term is pretty good too.

Is this only for ACTIVprimary, rather than ACTIVstudio. And in either case is the offer available outside of the UK?

UK only I am afraid. This market is the most mature one and we can afford to be more creative in the way in which we offer/sell our products. +wave+
