Sorry if this has been posted previously. I couldn't find that it had. As a Mac user, I could only drool about all the features of AS3. Now I get to play too! Lots of amazing, cool stuff! Query: is it a bug or is me that I can't delete a resource from the library by control/right-clicking? I have no trouble bringing up that contextual menu in AS2 to delete an unwanted resource but for the life of me I can't bring it up in AS3. Has it gone awol?

I've tried with various keys including Apple, ctrl, option and I cannot get it to work either. I can, however, add a new folder but using the crtl click.

It doesn't work for me either to delete a resource, but if you really want to delete a resource that's in a subfolder that you've created, you *could* pull all the images from that folder onto a page, delete the subfolder they were in by doing a control click on the folder, then create a new folder again - even naming it the same thing - and drag only the items you want to keep back in!

A lot of trouble if you have a lot of images in the folder, but it works!

Glad others were able to replicate the problem. In the meantime, I'll just delete resources by using the finder. That seems to work just fine.

Thanks for the helpful responses!

I too am finding that Ctrl-click does not work, but I have found that you can delete a resource by opening the resource manager, clicking on the folder that contains the resource you want to remove and then from "edit" on the menu bar choose "clear".

Hope this works for you.

Thanks for the tip! I'm only just getting a feel for the Resource Manager and so I don't tend to think of it. Good to have the reminder!
