shared images dissapeared?

can anyone help us?

This morning I tried to access certain math symbols that appeared and then did not appear intermittently in the shared resource library. When I clicked on the shortcut in the list that comes up on the left, first they came up and were accessible, then they were not. Others, like shapes or lines were able to be accessed, but not the extensive list of math images that she needed. I clicked on the icon and nothing happened. Do you have any ideas or experience with this anomaly? I tried closing and re-opening both the flipchart and active and restarted the machine… looked in Active Studio 2 under My Documents and nothing is in there. Where do the shared images live? Are they drag-able from a folder? And in general, what is the best way to get ‘shared’ images into ‘my images’ for regular use?

If you want to see where they are saved on your computer you need to go to Shared Documents not My Documents then click on the folder that says Activ Software then Activ Studio and it should show you a whole load of folders that will contain the shared resources.

The best way to view them is through AS . Once you have found them, if you want to save them into 'my resources' you can drag them onto the flipchart page and then click on the my resources icon and drag them into there and save them.

Something I often forget to check when I am swearing at the computer because I can't see the resources is that you are definitely looking in the shared area (2 people icon) rather than your personal library!

If you create a new folder in the appropriate folder in the Activstudio folders in My Documents, you will be able to copy and paste from the shared Resource Library folders. I wouldn't drag them because it's probably wiser to leave the shared resource library in tact. Frequently used items can also be stored on the third column(the Shortcut Bar) of the main Toolbox by dragging from the page onto the Shortcut Bar.
