If you regularly use digital cameras or scanners and other creative tools on a PC in class you may find that they save all their files in the My Documents folders - for videos, pictures, music etc.

You can browse to these (or indeed any other folder on your computer) and you will see the files within them directly within the resource library view itself. From there you can simply drag and drop them into your flipchart.

No more cut and paste!!!!

To browse to other folders, click the folder icon at the the top of the resources panel and then browse.

On the latest MAC AS software there are special iLife folder shortcuts within the resource library which go dirctly to the video, music, photos folders...

Yes, useful if you have a folder of 'portrait' type photos of the kids somewhere in your docs. You can easily use the above technique to pop them on the page and add thought bubbles/speech bubbles etc.
Kids love seeing themselves on flp pages.

Also great for photos of a school trip so that the children have access to the photos to make an instant "Big book" of their trip by adding text on each page. They can also use the sound recorder either instead or as well as text.
