I spent the last 20 minutes of all my classes today playing the "Blockbuster Science " Games from Robert Powell Publications.
I have never seen my class so energized...I mean the students were active, excited, competitive, focussed. Students that never cared were now trying to scan their classnotes in a hurry to help their team get the correct answer ! [clap] . Since this is the last day of Spring break, this was phenomenal. In other teacher classes, the kids were on a rampage :)
Robert Powell Publications make 2 kinds of Blockbuster games
-one kind is the output in ActivStudio format
- the other kind ( which is the best kind) is where the CD comes packed with almost 200 games in Science. These games can be edited to your liking and also the questions can be text or image.
