View Full Version : Creating your own tiled backgrounds

Picked up this tip from Margaret many years ago.
The ability to take any image, make it translucent, take a picture of it using the camera tool and then drag this new image into the 'my backgrounds' area of your background resources (in design mode) ...... and hey presto a tiled version of your image is created and saved in yout backgrounds folder.

If you resize the image to the page size and then save it your image won't tile. Backgrounds are great fro creating atmosphere - a nice Spring picture when looking at a poem about Spring for example.It will be full page size. Have I made heavy weather of explaining this? :o

I think what Sarah was eluding to was actually having it tiled I remember talking about "making" wallpaper once.... [clap] I needed to get our more then too!!

Yes you're right Margaret it was the wallpaper thread i was thinking about!! :eek:
I remember being inspired to create grandma themed wallpaper for the wolf's cottage!!! :D
