The ability of the library to host a whole variety of different types of images, files, documents etc is awesome [clap]
I think it is good to get into the habit of perhaps exploiting this facility in order to add pace to your lessons.
So, if you are going to use a range of different images, weblinks, docs etc and don't want to necessarily have these all on pages "done" these could all be saved in one folder and then accessed very effectively and efficiently and will save you hunting....
I think sometimes lessons which allow for a more spontaneous building of a page have "something additional" which is difficult to quantify. This will possibly allow for a more in depth discussion/ownership from the students if they feel they have helped build a page.
Similarly with younger children, having a folder of images which confine them to a set of resources is also a good way of focusing their attention. eg building a story with a set "choice" will help some children to be more effective in creating their characters/setting etc.
I am not sure that everyone truly exploits the option that "my collections" in Primary or Studio offers. The ability to save a range of different types of "stuff" is amazing! [clap]
Have you ever saved an image with the sound already attached for example!!
In the latest version of the AP3 Library I have tried to offer a variety of different types of groups in the first folder....+wave+
