The other day I saw a teacher use the clock to show a series of pages in a flipchart ..... he was giving the kids a timed quiz. Great idea. I did the same thing BUT when I set the clock to 'repeat' and 'turn to the next page', it did but when it got to the end of the '5 pages' .... the quiz .... it kept on going. It also kept creating a new, empty page each time it 'turned to a new page.' It would just continue creating blank pages. How do I set the clock to stop automatically at the end of the quiz?

There is no setting as such to count number of repeats...
Simply click the pause button on the clock...

That way you can do other things such as have an animation sequence and stop and start at will

Although not dircetly related to Quizzes - please note that you can use the Full/Area Screen Recorder to create a self contained animated sequence and the Flipchart Recorder (found under same Video Camera Icon) also lets you create a sequence of flipcharts events as an 'animated flipchart' - that you have extensive control over.

You could make revealing games - where the children have to guess the picture before it is fully drawn for example.

The idea of 'auto-page turning listed range of pages' is noted for possible inclusion in a future release of the software.

It would also be good to have a 'loop' option - return to page 1 after the last page, setting up a cycle.

OOh, yes, I would like that looping idea!

Of course there is a specialist animation packages of all levels of complexity that can create animations and picture sequences that embed within Flipcharts..

Teachers should always look for the best tools for the task - since using them esp. with the kids, helps develop a wider range of skills.

Thanks so much for your responses!! I had posted the information last night to model the use of the forums for a teacher in my region. Since I have been tied up with travel and meetings...I had not had time to play with this feature and Wow! to have suggestions flowing by the next morning is impressive! Thanks for sharing the new version suggestions as well!+wave+
