Help!
I am trying to ceate a table on my ACTIVprimary flipchart. I have tried creating it in MS Word but only the text is copied. How can I either create a table on the flipchart or copy and paste one from in MS Word? Thanks Jenny

Hi Jenny,
I think your best bet is to use the camera tool to capture your ready made table in MS Word and put it into your flipchart. There are table-type resources and grids...it depaends what you are using the table for.
Good luck

Jenny you could do this to create your own table into which you could them insert object, images or text:
First, place a grid on your page and resize it to whatever is appropriate. Put the "snap to" function on. Go to Lines and use the horizontal and vertical lines to create a table with the number of rows and columns you need. You can now mask the grid if you want to view your table without the grid being a distraction. (Click on the grid icon, and click on the mask.)
Go into Design Mode (Promethean Man, then click on Promethean Man's friend to turn him red.) Use the Select Tool and select ALL your lines. The menu should appear, but if it doesn't, just double click on one of the lines. From the menu, select Object Properties. From that menu, you can now group the lines together.
Click on the Lines icon to open the lines resources. Now select your newly created table and drag it into the yellow box at the bottom which contains the current lines available. The drag icon will change shape to be a right angled white arrow with four white squares underneath. Now release. You will be asked to give your table a name.Hey presto! You have not only created a table, it is now stored for future use any time you want. You can of course create as many tables as you wish.
Hope this helps. Sharon

Hi there
I did try posting this message a couple of days ago but it doesn't seem to have appeared.
When I copy tables from Word into ACTIV this is what works for me -
Create table in word - Select all - Copy - Open ACTIV - Make sure you are in Design Mode - Right click on flipchart page and choose Paste IMAGE and that should do it - If the table is a funny colour then go to Object properties and tick/untick transparent and that will make it normal.
