I am sure this has come up before but I have been asked it several times recently so thought it worth mentioning again ;)

Once you have typed in a word/some words onto a page it is often found confusing how you go back and edit that text.

Once the word(s) have been added to a page you need to think of them as objects (magnets on a fridge seems a helpful analogy). If something is an object then in order to move it, enlarge it, make it smaller you double click (push push) with the pen.

When you double click on text in this way you will see that there will be an additional option on the pop up toolbar which is a "T". Click on that "T" and you will be able to edit your text.

But why oh why do you have to stab the board over and over again before the bloody symbol for editing appears???????????????

Hi

You shouldn't have to "stab" the board! :(

The way that the "switch" in the pen is activated is by a gentle push push action. The more you stab at it, the less likely the pen is likely to "talk" to the electronics in the board via the copper grid!

Try the above action and see how you get on.

If you still have problems, then contact technical support and see if they can help!

I have found that the smaller the movement, the more effectively double-click works. A tiny "tic tic" with the pen while the side of your hand is in contact with the board gets results. Someone watching can hardly see the movement, which can be confusing when you are showing someone how to do this.

Holding the pen closer to the nib makes it easier to write AND perform a double-click operation! :)
