deleting multiple items at once

Is there a way of delete multiple items at once, ie in as2 you can use the marquee to draw round a selection and then press delete.

Yes, you need to be in Design Mode.

Click on the Promethean Man and you will see a menu roll out. If you click on "his friend" (second icon in) you will notice a red frame appear around the Promethean Man. This means you are in Design Mode. Once in Design Mode you can select a whole group of objects at once by dragging your pen across the objects.

If you want to delete them you can either "double click" on the selected group and a toolbar will pop up and you can click on the bin.

Alternatively, you can permanently have a bin on your page.

One of the Options is flipchart bin. It will now appear on your page and will stay there.
